Haley Stevens has been dedicated to fighting for Michiganders affected by the COVID-19 crisis. She has ensured she and her office are available to help constituents navigate resources and access the services they need. She cosponsored the No Cost for COVID-19 Testing Act, ensuring all Michiganders could be tested for free. She also cosponsored bills that fought to support our health care workers long term, protected and informed workers at risk of exposure to the virus, and ensured Michigan children had access to nutritious meals. She is dedicated to protecting Michiganders and ensuring they have the resources they need during this unprecedented time.

SHE’S FIGHTING TO PROTECT SENIORS
As politicians in Washington have attempted to privatize and make funding cuts to Social Security and Medicare, Haley has fought back. She understands that these benefits are sacred and promised to our seniors upon retirement, and is dedicated to ensuring they are protected. In Congress, she sponsored the Maximizing Drug Coverage for Low-Income Seniors Act of 2019, combatting the unaffordable cost of prescriptions for many seniors. She also cosponsored the Medicare Audiologist Access and Services Act of 2019, strengthening Medicare coverage for hearing health services.

SHE’S CHAMPIONING AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE FOR ALL
Haley is dedicated to providing working families the affordable health care they deserve. She will fight to expand the Affordable Care Act to implement a public option available to all, and allow seniors who aren’t currently covered to buy into Medicare. She’s seen firsthand how a medical emergency, or expensive prescription drugs, can cause extreme financial hardship for working families, and is dedicated to changing that.
