WHY VOTE SCHRODER FOR CONGRESS?
SHE’S TACKLING COVID-19 HEAD ON
Kate Schroder has created “Kate’s List”, an extensive list of resources compiled into one place, to help her community fight COVID-19. She understands that it is going to take the entire community, and country, coming together to get through this crisis. She has been dedicated to supporting working families, small businesses, health care providers, and everyone in between during this time, so that her community can stay healthy, safe, and financially stable as they weather the coronavirus.
SHE’S FIGHTING FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM
As a health care advocate for years, and a cancer survivor herself, Kate has experienced the importance of quality health care and what it’s like to depend on health care to survive. She will fight for health care reform, so that all Ohio residents have access to affordable, quality health care, regardless of a preexisting condition, or their financial situation. She will also fight to lower the cost of prescription drugs, ensuring those who need life-saving medication aren’t faced with the unthinkable decision to fill a prescription or face financial hardship.
SHE’S PROTECTING MEDICARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY
Kate understands that seniors have built our economy over the past decades, and deserve the Social Security and Medicare benefits they were promised upon retirement. She will fight to ensure that any efforts to privatize or make budget cuts to these benefits are stopped. She has a plan to stabilize these benefits, ensuring that seniors can retire with dignity and support.
Kate Schroder has dedicated her career to fighting for the health and safety of Cincinnatians. She isn’t afraid to stand up for residents of Ohio’s 1st District. That’s why the UAW endorses Kate Schroder for Congress.
