As her community has been gravely impacted by COVID-19, Julie has made sure they are supported. She’s also prepared with a 5-part action plan to move America forward. Her plan addresses the need for emergency paid family leave, expanded Medicare coverage options, improved medical supply chain, effective vaccine implementation, and supporting Americans with another stimulus package.

SHE’S FIGHTING TO EXPAND HEALTH CARE ACCESS
Julie believes it’s challenging for effective changes to health care to take place when politicians are at the will of large health care corporations and special interest. Instead, Julie has opted to not accept donations from any special interests or PACs to ensure full transparency in her fight for affordable, quality health care for all. She has a plan to implement a Medicare for all plan, ensuring that Americans have access to the health care they deserve. She will also fight to lower the price of prescription drugs, by supporting the effort to give Medicare the right to negotiate with large pharmaceutical companies.

SHE’S ADVOCATING FOR WORKERS AND UNIONS
Julie Oliver is a loud supporter of labor unions. She will fight to ensure that the right of workers to collectively bargain is protected, so that they can advocate for better wages, benefits and safer working conditions. If elected to Congress she has a plan to strengthen unions by fighting to ban right-to-work laws, passing the Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2019, and ensuring that workers in large corporations have a say on whose elected to board of director positions.
