SHE’S TACKLING COVID-19 HEAD ON
Kendra has seen the devastating effects of COVID-19 on her community firsthand. In Congress, she compiled a comprehensive list of resources on her website, and facilitated public health roundtables and town halls, to ensure Oklahoma families were cared for and informed. She fought to provide relief to her community, by cosponsoring a bill that allocated relief funding to her district. She also fought to pass public school stimulus funding, worked to supply frontline health care workers with PPE, and partnered with her Regional Food Bank to address food insecurity during the pandemic.

SHE’S FIGHTING FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM
Kendra Horn has a track record of fighting for health care reform. She believes that health care is a right, not a privilege for those who can afford it. She fought to expand Oklahoma’s Medicaid program to ensure that the over 200,000 Oklahomans that were uninsured had access to coverage. She also voted to pass the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, fighting to lower the cost of life-saving prescription drugs that were financially crippling working families.

SHE’S PROTECTING SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE
As politicians in Washington attempt to gut Social Security and Medicare benefits for seniors, Kendra has fought back. She believes that we have a responsibility to protect these benefits that were promised to our seniors. In Congress, she sponsored the Out-Of-Pocket Costs for Seniors Act, setting a $2,000 cap on prescription drug expenses for seniors who use Medicare Part D. She also fought to give Medicare the right to negotiate with pharmaceutical companies, continuing the fight to lower the price of treatment for seniors.
