CHRISTINA HALE

FOR U.S. CONGRESS

Christina Hale has been a lifelong resident of Indiana. As a non-profit leader, mom, and former state legislator, she has the work ethic and grit it takes to make effective change in Washington. She shares our values, and isn’t afraid to stand up for hardworking UAW families.

WHY VOTE HALE FOR CONGRESS?

ONE

SHE’S FIGHTING FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM

As a single mom, Christina experienced firsthand the effects of unaffordable health care when she had to risk her own coverage to afford her sons. She believes that every Indiana resident deserves access to quality health care, no matter their situation. She’ll fight to expand access to a public health care option and stop insurance companies from denying coverage to individuals with pre-existing conditions.

TWO

SHE’S DEDICATED TO RAISING THE MINIMUM WAGE

Christina Hale believes that working families should be able to make a living wage. She understands the hardship of working multiple jobs, and still struggling to make ends meet. That’s why she’s dedicated to raising the minimum wage in Indiana. She will fight so that everyone, regardless of circumstance, has a change at earning a living wage for their family.

THREE

SHE’S ADVOCATING TO LOWER THE COST OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS

Christina understands that the cost of prescription drugs are extremely unsustainable for individuals who need life-saving medication. She’s dedicated to bringing transparency to drug pricing and increasing negotiation power for insurance companies and Medicare. She’ll fight so that individuals who need insulin, or seniors who need medication to survive, aren’t faced with poverty or negative health impacts due to the unaffordable costs of their prescriptions.

Christina Hale has dedicated her career to fighting to level the playing field for working families in Indiana. She leads with empathy, and isn’t afraid to stand up to protect residents of the 5th District. That’s why the UAW endorses Christina Hale for Congress.
