THE UAW ENDORSES CHERI BEASLEY FOR US SENATE IN NORTH CAROLINA

On November 8th, vote Cheri Beasley and stand with working families.

We can trust Cheri to fight for the things we care most about – like our personal freedoms and our families’ futures.

  • Fighting for working families:

As a former member of a union herself, Cheri knows what working families in North Carolina need. She will defend our right to organize for better pay and better benefits. We can also count on her to protect our retirement security by strengthing our pensions, 401(k)s, and Medicare and Social Security benefits.

  • Lowering costs of health care while expanding options:

Cheri knows that affordable, reliable health care is out of reach for far too many families in our state – while the rising costs of prescription drugs are forcing families to make difficult decisions. She’ll fight to expand health care coverage and stand up to the big pharmaceutical companies price-gouging working families.

  • Protecting our freedoms:

The decision of when and how to start a family should be made by you and your loved ones – and the conversations you have with your medical providers should remain private and confidential. Cheri will also stand up to any politician who wants the right to make health care decisions for you.
Cheri Beasley is running against Ted Budd – who has a long track record of voting against our freedoms.

He voted for legislation to make it harder for families to receive the reproductive health care they need. Standing on the side of big corporations, he voted against legislation protecting our right to join a union. And Ted Budd voted in favor of letting insurance companies deny coverage over pre-existing conditions.

Ted Budd stands with big corporations – not on the side of working families. On November 8th, vote Cheri Beasley for US Senate.
